The only thing is, those tents are so big, there is no great place to put them. I guess my mommy knows best!!
Christmas with the Kicks – the gifts
Christmas with the Kicks – The morning
My daddy makes us omelets on Christmas morning – I love that. He makes the greatest omelets. After Jesus takes him home one day, along with telling my children how God used their Pop around the world, I will tell them that he made amazing omelets. My children may not know what an omelet is because I CANNOT make one. My mom even bought me this omelet maker and I am still an omelet loser.
This year I found a crockpot omelet recipe that I tried out. After eating that disaster for breakfast, we all headed upstairs to read the Christmas story on the “big bed”. We took some time to remember the greatest Gift ever given, sang Away in the Manger and Joy to the World and then headed down to see what gifts we were able to give each other.
We had covered the door in wrapping paper so that no little eyes could see during breakfast traffic. It was fun to see the kids run through and rip the paper.
I will never understand, no matter how long I work at Walmart, how someone could. . .
1. be walking through the rows of towels, decide they don’t want a DVD and just dump it on the towel shelf.
2. bring an item up to the cashier, blatantly LIE about the price and get mad when the manager won’t give them the item for the LIEd about price.
3. decide IN LINE – AT THE REGISTER – that they don’t want a bra and turn around and stuff it into the beef jerky box while I, I mean a cashier, watches inches away! (eager to take the bra and put it in it’s proper place).
4. open a bottle of GermX in line, use it to wash their hands, and then put it back on the shelf – – across from the cashier!!!
5. come in to shop at 10:45PM with their two young children, look on the shelf and see the desired item is out of stock, walk up and down the aisle of pallets waiting to be unloaded, find said item and ask the night staff to get it for them now. WHAT?????
