Pinterest Fix

Well, I have decided that Pinterest gives the satisfaction of shopping without spending any money.  I have also remained committed to the fact that items I pin are meant to have something done with them and so I continue to move things over to my “up next” board and work my way through them.

This week I am putting together “End of the Year” treats to give my kiddos on their last day of school, finishing a rag wreath while watching Dr. Who, and cooking “Cinnamon Butter Buns” for the company we have staying with us this weekend.  And just today I got a creativity fix when I decided to duplicate this little gem:

I am sure you have seen it if you’re on Pinterest.

Here’s how mine turned out:

I can’t wait to print and frame it!

My first thought was “I can’t believe she just put the year of her birthday on there for all to see!” Ha, ha!!! That is so cute. I may copy you 🙂 Just got a Silhouette with Christmas/Birthday money I have been saving for a while. It’s been so fun, but haven’t had time to really mess around with it. I wish we lived next door to each other. It would be so fun to craft together.
