Our KB is no exception. It’s hilarious, really. She walks around with them in her hands and then, suddenly, sits down and sticks one foot up in the air as a way of asking for help. It’s KB language for, “I have the shoe. Here is my foot. Put it on.” If the forceful and confident approach does not work, she will give a pleading look and pat her chest (“please”) in sign language earnest.

Funny thing is that she often will only let you put one on.

What’s that nursery rhyme again??
