You’ll never guess who showed up on my doorstep on Wednesday at 2:00PM!

I had just gone two rounds with all three children and was about to pour myself a tall glass of egg nog and take a walk around the yard to compose myself. I came around the corner and there, standing in the doorway, was my mother (with her camera in hand). I screamed, threw the door open, and burst into tears; my daddy was standing just out of sight.

This is SO UNLIKE my parents. And they really got me good. I think it is hard to surprise me, but they did it. My sister had already called a couple times that morning – all of a sudden I realized she was trying to find out if they were there yet.

Talk about things to be thankful for.

We had SUCH a great time.

Thanks mom and daddy for making the long trip. Thanks for the food, clothes, Tylenol, and fun. I love you so very dearly. (As does my family.)

Memom went in to get Little up from her nap. Little looked up at her and said, “Memom – you’re back.” That was it. *smile*

Bubba, on the other hand, had a completely different response to his Pop. That little guy LOVES his Pop. He went straight over and fell into a hug with Pop. He was right there with him for quite some time. It was so dear to watch.
