It’s National Teacher Appreciation week. Isn’t it terrible that our government feels the need to tell us to appreciate our children’s teachers? Soon we will be expected not to think at all. . . but that’s a post for another day.
So, in order to celebrate our teachers in a “pin” worthy manner, I did a search on Pinterest and found an idea I could tweak and make my own. This is what I came up with:
I thought the idea was precious but I wanted to jazz it up a bit, so I made a tag of my own and KB headed out the door today with two of these:
Sure, a cello bag would have jazzed it up a notch, but I think it’s okay for less than 24 hours.
Last week we had a week long appreciation fest at Little’s school and I was in charge of wrapping the gift cards and contributing to the snack table. Another Pinterest search yielded these adorable ideas:

I used some little bags I got from Pick Your Plum months ago and created my version of the bags.
Honey picked up some root beer and I tied on the tags.
I just love appreciating the teachers. I appreciate the creative outlet! I need to figure out whom I will appreciate next week so I can make these:

Wait. That sounds self serving. I just remembered I’m Bubba’s teacher. I’m not rooting for a gift.
