Marlene is the OT at Little’s school and presently one of my very favorite people. Marlene is very gifted and God has been using those gifts to help our Little have some very big victories. You might say we feel very lucky to have Marlene.
You might say our lives are providentially enhanced by knowing Marlene, but that is too long to fit on a gift tag. . .
Anyway, Marlene has been very kind about a couple of the shirts I have made for Little and she mentioned, in passing, that she would love a shirt for each holiday. Some might say she was just being nice but I don’t think that’s who Marlene is. So, tonight I whipped up a little happy for one of my favorite people
and wrapped it up all cutesy to be delivered tomorrow.
Thank you, God, for Mrs. Marlene and her loving heart.
Amen, Becky! Marlene is such an answer to prayer! We love her, and I know she’s going to love her cutesy shirt! What a thoughtful gift!
God places people in our lives and it is up to each of us to learn the lesson of why. It is wonderful to know that grace is sheparding over your Little. I am sure your are still wondering why God has placed Mr. David and me in your lives but, sometimes it takes us longer to learn the lesson of why.
I am LUCKY to be your friend! Your creativity and sweet heart are such a blessing to me. Thanks for always inspiring me, friend!
I chuckled-on-the-inside when I read the title of this post (and then loved seeing your productivity and creativity. again). My dad is St. Louis Irish Catholic, so you can just imagine all the “luck” I grew up with. I still habitually knock on wood, had a 1-second panic when a black cat literally passed in front of me on a run, and stumble to find something different to say to someone other than “good luck!” or “you’re so lucky!” or something similar. I need to relax about the whole thing, but wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your posts, for so many different reasons.
