The Landlord won’t let us paint the bathrooms. He re-did them right before we moved in and he is very protective of those new walls. So, we have bland white walls and I have to make the most of it. For the past year that has meant . . . nothing. Now we have these cute little dot pictures. It’s a start.

I read this somewhere years ago and liked it: I don’t know how many bathrooms you have, but this idea was used in the kids bath. I have sort of peach walls and use 4 different bright colored towels. So I gave the kids 4 crayons (marker, colored pencil, whatever) that were the same color as the towels and had them write their names really big on a piece of white paper using JUST those colors. Then I framed them and hung them in the bathroom. It’s easy and can be done in any color frame. Since I have white curtain and rugs I used white frames, but with white walls, I’m sure you’d want color! 🙂 In fact it’s been quite a while since they did that because Jack’s name is written perfectly BACKWARDS, but he did it and I love it and it is hanging there for all the world to see. Or at least the guests who use that bath! 🙂
