It has come to my attention that my house is out of control with clutter and dirt. This came to my attention because in a week’s time I have misplaced SO MUCH STUFF and accidentally found so many things I haven’t even told you about. (oh, look, there is KB’s baptism photo. . . and the 10 month old request I was supposed to mail in for a birth certificate – I should get right on that)

If you glance up, you will see just below The Blue Hutch there is now a countdown clock which is helping to mark the time until my mom arrives from Birmingham to HELP ME CLEAN MY HOUSE. That’s right, folks. That is the only reason she is coming. That and kissing Grandkids and celebrating KB’s first birthday. (The later two reasons PALE in comparison to the first!! Yea, you heard me right.) My mom is a doer…a fixer…a HIGH “D”, if you are familiar with the DISC test, and this house is going to be awesome after her four day stay.

I can hardly wait.
Maybe I’ll use my newly charged camera battery to go take “before” pictures for future testimonial.
