These are our friends, Dave and Julia. They call themselves our “heathen friends” but we call them two of our favorite people in town. I used to work with Julia YEARS ago and our friendship has brought me such joy. Dave is such a nice guy (although he wouldn’t want you to know it) and we have such fun laughing together. They came and had Easter lunch with us and stayed the afternoon.
This is my dear friend, Cris. She joined us for lunch too. Her husband was out of town and we missed having him here too. Cris is a “bosom friend” as Anne would say.

Actually, Dave died of starvation around 7 p.m. last night.
Let it be known that Dave was offered alternative food choices.I ate everything and it was delicious. The cupcake stuffing was my favorite! Dave, don’t forget that amazing cheesecake you gobbled down and even resorted to trying to sneak my piece!
