Dilly Dots

I have become an Oriental Trading fan.  VBS was all it took to sell me on their selection and prices for fun artsy stuff.  Recently I purchased a few things to do with the kids; this order included Dilly Dot Markers.  Of course, I had a coupon (insert grin) so I got the activity sheets to.  The kids have had a blast.  This was the result of today’s session of “painting”.

Can you guess who did which??
Bubba watched me do mine, asked, “More rainbow, please” and then did his very purposefully.  It was cute . . . and scary.

Busted!

I have been going through July’s photos and getting them ready for a big Snapfish order.  Apparently I missed half of the camp pictures somehow.  Here’s what I just “stumbled” across.  I hope this is the ONLY time we see this picture. . .

Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-long Blog

We here at The Blue Hutch are fans of Joss Whedon.  We LOVE Firefly and we are presently working our way through the Buffy series.  So, imagine my surprise when I ran across a “made for internet” mini-film by our Mr. Whedon called “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-long Blog”. 
Honey and I watched it and it is HILARIOUS, well done, good quality stuff.

If you want to know WHY this was made, check out the website that explains (under “Master Plan”) how this was a project done during the writer strike by Joss and his brothers and folks he had worked with before.  Neat.
