Dear Rachel,

I know you are reading this.  It is probably late at night – but I am now on to you.  I am writing to publically apologize for not asking, when I saw you this morning, if YOUR son has started school yet.  I didn’t ask about your kids AT ALL.  I prattled on about mine in answer to your very kind questions but showed no kindness in return.  Could we chalk it up to me being so overcome to find out you guys were reading my blog and I was thrown off balance mentally? Could that be my excuse?

Okay, I agree – there is NO excuse.  Please forgive.
Has Will started preschool?
Did your mom have the kids today?
I bet you enjoyed the time out – I heard we sold 228 snow cones!!!
Wish I could have stayed longer.

Honey’s Gift – Part Two

Thanks to my friend Madelyn for pointing out I misspelled seminary on Honey’s Gift. Yes, on his printed, framed, given gift.

This afternoon I redid that portion of the photo (thank heavens for Photoshop) and had it reprinted at Sam’s. We are back in business.

This was such a me thing to do. *sigh*

Honey’s Gift

They have finished the new Admin. building on campus and Honey and the others will be moving in soon.  He has been talking about what to hang on the walls.  So, for his birthday I gave him this:
These are all the classes he took in seminary and they are in the school’s colors.  I had it printed as an 11×14 photo and framed for his new office.  It turned out great.  I was so excited about it that I gave it to him early – only 12 hours early, but still early.  He LOVED it.  I am so glad he did.

The other fun thing is that I FINALLY got his diplomas (college and seminary) framed for his new office as well.  They aren’t done yet but they are going to be SWEEEEET.
