He Drank Tea!

It’s October 1st and, in my mind, that means AUTUMN HAS LANDED.  I will get my pumpkins out today and deck the halls with gourds and “fally” (ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha).

In another vein, it means my husband is downstairs lapping up a big ole cup of coffee. He is a good and faithful man and didn’t drink any acid coffee for the entire 30 days of September.  He has been talking about today for a week though.  *smile*

I think that I am going to stay off the carbonated drinks since that went so well but may make a new covenant that in October I will only drink water. . . and pumpkin spice lattes!

Honey took Bubba out for a special lunch on Saturday but only made it to the end of our driveway before stopping. I looked out the window and he and Bubs were standing in front of the car looking at a big lump on the driveway. Yes, Honey had stopped just short of a turtle.

I grabbed up KB and we ran out to take a look. Then, after some coaxing (Honey never had a turtle when he was little) I picked up “Timmy” and put him in the pool so he would be around when Little got home from school.
