I know, I know – if you are going to mention a good birthday gift, then you should probably be good at the puzzles you are asking for, right? Well, I’m not. Every month there is one of these in my All You magazine:

I draw in the arrows and numbers from the original and usually have the puzzle solved pretty quickly. It’s like a loser version of Sudoku. . . and I have to have a back-up on file. Still, I love it.

I told Bubba he was NOT to go outside; it was cold, there was a bit of time before the bus was to arrive, and I wasn’t in a place to go with him.

He didn’t go outside technically. He got as close to sin as he could – hung his feet over the line, if you will – but he didn’t go outside.
