Honey had a networking event this morning and so I couldn’t go in to work right away.  So, what did we do? We got up, got dressed and headed into the city for some fun.  This year our city turns 250 and there are cakes like this one all over marking the occasion.

We met our Luthin friends at the Arch for pictures and then walked several blocks to the City Gardens for swimming.  We stopped at each cake along the way for a photo.Little hasn’t been feeling well so she sat on the sidelines and alternated between clapping for her brother’s great splashes and whining about wanting to swim.  Honey met us at the park after his meeting and I headed to work while he bought the kids lunch at a nearby food truck.  I love living here.
