Yes, after 6 years the Kicklighter household is cribless. I am thrilled . . . and sad. The weird thing about having three children in 3.5 years is that some milestones seem so close together. It feels like Bubba just got his big boy bed. . . deep sigh.
So, this weekend Superman Honey painted a new room for Bubba and KB got her big girl room. It’s still not complete so I am going to hold off on complete room photos, but for now . . . here’s the big girl on her new bed:

This picture makes me wish that I made my kids make their beds every morning. (or that I made them.) Either way, they don't get made…and although I will probably regret it, I'm hoping I still have time to instill that in them before they are past hope.
And meanwhile I TELL myself that I have bigger fish to fry at this point. (But really, that is just my excuse, and I really don't believe it as much as I think I do.)
