My husband works nights, so I make the bed when I get out – even though he is going to be getting in shortly. But often he doesn't make the bed and I can't stand climbing into a tossled bed. I prefer flat bedding, smoothed and ready to lay over me evenly – not bunched up and crazy!
i too have been a life long bed maker…until i had kids. i quit making it because i was just going to crawl in at some point in the afternoon and crash for 30 minutes. 🙂
