How Now Brown Cow?


Did I ever tell you that we bought into a cow? My friend Meagan is so cool and does stuff like this all the time, where I just think of stuff and move to something else! So, she sent out an email basically saying that she wanted to buy a grass-fed cow and wanted 6 folks to go in on it with her. Later she made concession for some of us to only do 1/12.

What a deal! You can TASTE the difference in the meat and when you brown the ground beef – no fat!!! OH MY WORD!

Only problem is that I don’t know what to do with an Arm Roast and Soup Bones!!!

    And your freezer! I'm so jealous. Ours is a relic that is in desperate need of replacing. I can't even use the top shelf for all the frost build up (and it is constant).

    Sigh.

    But back to the items in question. I always find Julia Chi-google to be very helpful. Just google “recipe beef soup bones” and see what you get. Warning: I haven't actually tried this yet. 🙂
