I have had the same coat for, at least, 13 years. My sister and I both got barn jackets the same year for Christmas and we have been trying to remember just when that was. I have pictures of me wearing the coat from 13 years ago – so we’re going with that.
I LOVE my coat. So much so that I wore it last winter with two holes in the sleeves!
When my mom came in October she caught sight of those two holes, cried out in horror, and (I later found out) told my husband to get me a new coat!
I got a new coat. I am not sure I can get rid of the old one – I know that is silly, but 13 years of memories in that coat. It’s been to China, Australia, Colorado . . .
Anyway, here’s my new coat. . .I won’t bore you with the AMAZING DEAL God provided *wink*
Now imagine it on a shorter, chubbier gal with short hair and who walks at a straight angle. There ya go. . .
The funny thing about posts like this one is that the girls at my church read this and then keep their eyes out for my “new glasses” or “new coat”. This is the weirdness of blogging 🙂

I am making progress catching up. I am going to miss the red coat, too. This one is cute, though.
