A quote from our friend, Dan’s, blog:

I echo the “HOLY COW”. Honey was going to go for a run last night and I begged him not to go. The desire to be healthy could have killed him in weather like that.

We went to get Little new glasses yesterday and Bubba was in tears from the heat within five steps from the van. (Thankfully there were only five more steps to go.)

They are predicting a heat index today of only 101. (The thing about days like yesterday is that they allow you to use words like “only” in reference to numbers like 101.) Glad we have a swimming play date this morning!
