We went to the zoo Friday. Libby went with us to help keep the kids coralled. It was the hottest day of the year – only 88, but compared to what we have been having (barely 70) it felt toasty. After about 1.5 hours, Bubba was walking into people he was so tired!

We started in the children’s zoo. Last time we went Bubba was too small and stayed in the stroller. This time he was right in there checking it out. Here’s some video so you can check it out:

The ONLY reason this next photo is here is to show how my children have become so adept at handling photo ops with mom. I merely said, “You guys could hop up on those frogs and I could take your picture.” And they did. They didn’t smile – they look pretty awful – but they hopped up for the photo. There you go! Now if all of life were just that simple.
