Pathetic

I did the google search. There is no tutorial for basic ponytails. Oh how I wish I had my Marie Osmond head from 19–! It is hard to practice on a moving target. Heaven help us!

Hooray! I am not the only mother with pathetic pony tail skills. My hair jobs are quite embarassing for all parties… Ella, me and anyone who sees the back of her head. I just cannot do it! Let me know if you figure out a trick!!

I think it looks pretty good, especially for your first try. I have lots of experience with pigtails, ponytails, braids, bangs, no bangs, etc. and the backs of my girls’ heads still often resemble Little’s :).

Don’t feel too bad, B. This is the first time in 14 years that my hair is finally long enough to do anything with (ponylails, twist, etc.). But I feel like I’m learning to ride a bike again, b/c suddenly I’m re-learning all those girly hair skills. How about you come practice your ponytail skills on my head ‘o’ hair? I promise I’ll sit still and i won’t pull them out the second you finish. !! 🙂
