Okay, it’s the unveiling of the new blog title. We got many cute and clever ideas for a new name – special kudos go out to the Price family for the extensive time spent trying to help us. . .oh let’s just call it what it was . . .trying to WIN! The idea for the name came from my mom who, after a week in our midst, said she could sum up her stay as “caught between temper-tantrums, bowel movements and the blue hutch”.

Since temper-tantrums and bowel movements are self explanatory, you are probably asking “What’s up with the furniture reference??” The blue hutch sits in our kitchen and it is a major Kicks hotspot. The Flylady (see flylady.net for more info) defines a hotspot as, “an area when left unattended which will gradually take over.” One can usually tell alot about what is happening in our lives by the size and content of the stacks on the blue hutch. Hence the name! The blog is a metaphorical blue hutch! To prove my point, I will sporadically include a photo of this precious hotspot and let you watch in amazement as our world unfolds to you — just like in a blog entry. I’ll watch as you gather an appreciation of the brilliance of this new title.
